* A draw will take place in case that there is a great number of applicants.

* The results of the application will be announced by e-mail before 11 July (Tue).

Important points regarding the application

Please apply once for each group.

Please make your application in groups consisting of up to 3 photographed subjects and up to 3 photographers.

Photographing time for each group is limited to 15 minutes.

Please come to the reception of the photo shooting at the water basin 5 minutes before the beginning of your time.

In the groups selected for participation, it is required to purchase a “Cosplay changing room ticket (including participation ticket” or a “Cosplay participation ticket” or “Participation ticket for photographers” for all the participants. Please purchase them in advance.

Photographing will take place with 3 groups at a time.

The place for the photo shooting will be determined by a draw at the reception. The staff will not request for changes, but there is no problem if participants themselves agree to make any change or to take pictures alternately.

The space for each group is approximately 2 m × 5.4 m. (Panels will be laid on the water basin, and photographing is not allowed outside the panels)

The use of tripods is also allowed. (The use of tripods is allowed in front of the water basin or on the panels laid on the surface of the water basin)

Mist will be released periodically. (At the minutes 00, 20 and 40 of every hour. The release of mist may be suspended due to weather conditions) Please acknowledge that depending on the group you may be assigned a time slot without mist release.

WCS official camera staff will be taking pictures of the photo shooting, which may be published on different social media sites and web pages.

We are looking for cosplayers who would like to perform at the special stage of Oasis 21!

Application period (Planned)

From 9 June (Fri) 10:00 to 26 June (Mon) 10:00

Important points regarding participation in the Runway Stage

Up to 3 persons can appear on stage together.

There will be no onstage rehearsals on the day of the event.Explanations about activities on the stage will be provided before appearing on stage.

Background music will be arranged by the organizers, and therefore there is no need for participants to prepare it.

We are planning to hold a special runway for kids and families in Block 2, on 5 August (Sun) at noon.

Important points regarding participation in the Performance Stage

Please make groups composed of 2 to 15 persons.

Performance time is limited to 5 minutes per team.

In case of placing props or other items on stage, please include the time for preparation and withdrawal in the 5 minutes above.

Microphones cannot be used.

A rehearsal is expected to take place on the day of the event.

In case of being accepted, it will be required to submit profile pictures and the audio data of the performance at a later date.

There is a 200-inch LED screen at the back of the stage. It is possible to use video footage in the performances.

* It is expected to provide an internet streaming of the stage on the day of the event. The audio data of the performance will be replaced with a copyright-free one for the streaming.Please try to make use of copyright-free music whenever possible, and performed or sequenced anew by yourselves in the case of music with rights managed by JASRAC.

* In case that images are used on the LED screen, it is not allowed to use images or audio from the original work, as well as materials retraced directly from the original work.

About the stage

This is the planned size, but it is subject to change. A carpet will be laid on the stage.

It is required to purchase separately a “Cosplay changing room ticket (including participation ticket” or a “Cosplay participation ticket” for all the participants.

The event will be streamed live on the internet.

Pictures and videos of the stage will be published on social media sites, and can also be featured in materials such as the promotion of future events related with the World Cosplay Summit.

Please enjoy the event while you are not performing on stage.
