[ Osu Cosplay Parade ] Osu Summer Festival’s Signature Collaboration Event, Happening Again This Year!

This year, we will once again hold the popular collaboration event with the Osu Summer Festival! World Cosplay Championship representatives from around the world will parade through the Osu Shopping Street in their dazzling costumes. General cosplayers are also welcome to participate, so please join us!

How to Participate

If you wish to join the Cosplay Parade, please gather at Ōsu Kannon.

About the Distribution of Tickets:

The ticket distribution schedule is as follows:

• 9:30 Start of ticket distribution
• 10:00 Start of line-up
• 10:30 Start of parade
• 12:00 End of parade

Participants without a ticket will be asked to line up at the end of the parade.
*A representative can receive numbered tickets for the number of people in the group.

Notes

• It is expected to be very hot, so please stay hydrated.
• Please refrain from distributing flyers or engaging in promotional activities during the parade.
• Follow the instructions of Osu Shopping Street staff while lining up and during the parade.
• Due to guidance from authorities, the parade will end at 12:00 PM. Please note that we may disband the parade midway.
• The event is held in an area with many general public and children. Please avoid wearing overly revealing costumes, posing in ways that expose underwear, or taking low-angle photos.
• Photos of participants in the parade may be featured in media or on social media platforms by the general public.

Frequently Asked Questions

• You can cosplay in Osu Shopping Street even if you do not have a World Cosplay Summit participation ticket or pass.
• A World Cosplay Summit participation ticket is not required. Participation in the parade and photography is free.
• If you wish to continue cosplaying and taking photos at locations like Oasis 21 after the cosplay parade, please purchase a cosplay and photo participation ticket.
• If you wish to use the changing rooms before participating in the cosplay parade, please purchase a cosplay changing room ticket. Please make sure to purchase the ticket before coming to the changing room. (Cosplay changing room tickets will not be sold on the day of the event at the venue.) The nearest changing room is at [Nobunaga Hall in Banshoji Temple].
• After the parade ends, we will disband at that location. Please continue to enjoy the Osu Summer Festival and the World Cosplay Summit.

Please purchase a cosplay changing room ticket for [Nobunaga Hall in Banshoji Temple] before coming to the changing room.
If the cosplay changing room tickets for [Nobunaga Hall in Banshoji Temple] are not sold out, you can purchase them on the day of the event.
No cosplay changing room tickets will be sold on-site on the day of the event.
