A glamorous eve festival presented in collaboration with Nagoya University of the Arts. Championship representatives from 41 countries and regions, along with special guests, will appear on the red carpet in this special opening ceremony filled with music and cheers.

They will declare the opening on DAY 1 of the World Cosplay Summit.

We will host a cosplay runway stage limited to characters from sports-themed anime, manga, and games, presented by Longwood Sports.
Cosplayers who register in advance will be invited to perform on stage

To celebrate the release of the movie “Tonoi-san Wants to Relive Her Youth! – Idiots, Smartphones, and Romance”, a special stage event will be held!
Join us for a fun dance session featuring the beloved character Tonoi-san and her iconic moves from the film!

This year, we’re bringing you a special edition of the WCSSelection once again! Get ready for the cosplay runway featuring only characters from pachinko and pachislot games—it’s the “WCSSelection supported by Tamakoshi”!
Did you know pachinko actually originated in Nagoya? Tamakoshi proudly supports both the pachinko culture that began in Nagoya and the cosplay culture led by the World Cosplay Summit.
Pre-registered cosplayers will take the stage in this unique celebration of gaming and cosplay!
