Event Guidelines

The World Cosplay Summit is held in public spaces. The event takes place across multiple venues, including Oasis 21, Aichi Arts and Culture Center (for the championship), Hisaya Odori Park (cosplay photography area), and Osu Shopping District (cosplay walking area). Please be aware that many general visitors who are unfamiliar with cosplay may also be present.

Please be considerate of passersby and facility users, as all venues will continue normal operations during the event. Use of each venue must follow its respective rules. Your understanding and cooperation will help ensure the continued success of the event.

Important Information for Visitors

Transportation and accommodation costs are the responsibility of attendees.
We strongly recommend using public transportation, as there are no dedicated parking facilities for the event.
Visitors requiring wheelchairs or assistance must be accompanied by a guardian or caretaker.
Waiting in line or gathering at the venue the night before the event is strictly prohibited. Violators may be subject to police intervention.
The event organizers and venues are not responsible for any accidents or disputes among attendees.
Due to crowd management, entry to venues may take longer than expected.
During peak hours, attendees may be asked to wait outdoors before entering. Please manage your health accordingly.
For security reasons, baggage inspections may be conducted upon entry.
If event staff determine that an attendee’s behavior is disruptive, they may be denied entry or asked to leave.

Venue Regulations

Participants must follow event regulations and staff instructions at all times.
If you notice any suspicious individuals or objects, please inform a staff member immediately.
If you feel unwell or are injured, seek assistance from event staff.
There will be no public announcements or paging services. Attendees should arrange meeting points and communication methods in advance.
Any internet connection fees incurred at the venue are the responsibility of the attendee.
Wi-Fi services are not provided. If necessary, please arrange your own mobile internet connection.

Participants engaging in cosplay or photography must adhere to the event’s cosplay and photography regulations.

By attending the event, all participants agree to comply with the World Cosplay Summit’s official participation guidelines.
