The Eve Festival of World Cosplay Summit 2025 – A Grand Red Carpet Ceremony presented by Nagoya University of the Arts
On Friday, August 1st, the World Cosplay Summit Eve Festival will feature a Red Carpet Ceremony and cosplay event! Representatives from 41 countries and regions participating in the World Cosplay Championship, along with WCS alumni, will gather in Nagoya. They will walk the red carpet at Oasis 21 alongside special guests. The ceremony will be held on a special stage at Oasis 21 and is free to attend for everyone.

Media coverage will take place on the day of the event. During the Red Carpet Ceremony and stage viewing at Oasis 21, participants may be photographed or featured in various media outlets. Your understanding is appreciated.

Associate Professor, Nagoya University of the Arts
Born in Gifu City, Gifu Prefecture. Graduated top of his class from Tokyo Conservatoire Shobi and performed in the graduation concert. Completed the diploma course at the same school.
Studied saxophone under Yuji Ishiwata, Shinichi Iwamoto, and Masato Kumoi; chamber music under Yoshiyuki Hattori and Mariko Hattori; and conducting under Hisayoshi Hashimoto. Held solo recitals in 2001 (Gifu Melsa Hall), 2003, 2004, and 2014 (Nagoya The Concert Hall) with great acclaim. Released the album “Arion’s Harp (FLCP-210027)” in 2014 with the Arion Saxophone Quartet. While active as a saxophonist, he also serves as a wind music instructor for numerous amateur bands. After serving as an associate professor at a junior college, he is currently a member of the Arion Saxophone Quartet, Trio Wisteria, Wind Ensemble GAJA, representative of Unità della Sax, principal conductor of Lulo Brass Orchestra (Komaki City), and representative of Rise Music.
Wind Ensemble: Nagoya University of the Arts Wind Orchestra
Since its founding, the university has held annual concerts to further develop its wind ensemble class. The orchestra actively participates in public events, contributing to the community through music. They have performed at the Expo 2005 commemorative concert, Japan Band Clinic, the 50th anniversary of the Chubu Japan Band Association, WASBE 2007 (Ireland), Mid Europe (Austria), and Jeju International Wind Ensemble Festival (Korea), receiving high praise. They were awarded a special prize at the European Youth Music Festival (Belgium). The orchestra has recorded more than 10 CDs, released by Sumiyoshi and De Haske (Netherlands), and recorded reference tracks for the Chubu Japan Band Association and Music Eight.
