When did you start doing cosplay?

The first time I cosplayed was in 2012!

Manga, anime or games that you like

Some of my favorite video games are the Final Fantasy Series, Nier series, Persona 5, Kingdom Hearts, Breath of the Wild, Danganronpa Series, Atelier Series and the list goes on and on! I really love JRPGs! Some anime I really like are for example Violet Evergarden, Cowboy Bebop and Neon Genesis Evangelion.

How many costumes do you have now?

No idea, I’ve never counted them all… I have more wigs than I have costumes as wigs and makeup is my favorite part of cosplay. As an example I’ve made and owned 14 Final Fantasy wigs! and that’s just Final Fantasy! The total amount of wigs I don’t know… I currently have 4 big boxes, 3 small boxes and 8 wig heads of just wigs!

What is Japan for you?

The home to so many things I love! Including video games, anime, food, culture, fashion and much more!

Self introduction

Some things I love are cosplay-wigs, video games and Japanese media. I loved cosplay-wigs so much it became my summer job during University, video games so much it’s development became my bachelor’s and job, and JRPGs so much I started cosplaying and that I’m here today!

For games I love JRPGs! Kingdom Hearts 2, Final Fantasy IX, NieR series and The World Ends With You are almong my favorites! For anime some of my favorites are Durarara!!!, No Game No Life and Promare!

Japan for me is a country rich in culture, both new and exciting and peaceful and traditional.

I'm Demu, a 26 year old assistant nurse from Sweden! After being introduced to the game Kingdom Hearts back in 6th grade by a friend, I soon after discovered cosplay and was instantly hooked. Ever since this hobby has allowed me to learn many new things and make many new friends!
