The Cosplay Runway Stage and Performance Stage will be held again this year! Under the title of "WCS Selection", cosplayers selected from the general public will perform at a special stage at Oasis 21 on 6 and 7 August.
Cosplayer of the Year 2023

We are pleased to announce the outline of this year's "Cosplayer of the Year 2023," a cosplay contest to discover new cosplay talent. Organized by the "Cosplayer of the Year Executive Committee," comprised of companies in the cosplay industry, this is the fourth edition of the annual contest. The winners of the previous contest will also make an appearance.
Nagoya University of Arts Voice Acting Course Live performance 2022

A 30-minute stage packed with the best performances from selected members of the voice acting course of Nagoya University of the arts, including sword fight performances, a live dubbing session with the boy idol group “echoo” and the songs and dance of the girl voice talent unit “iCANDY”!
Tamakoshi presents Anime "Shikizakura" Hero Show

“Shikizakura” is an original TV animation series that debuted in winter of 2021, with a story set in the Tōkai area. This work so closely related with our region will come to life in a hero show! Featuring a brand new scenario. And the protagonists and the heroines will be performed live by the original cast! And don't miss the breathtaking action scenes directed by the world-class motion actor Wataru Koga! With no doubt this show will be enjoyed all over the world, by children and adults alike!

Anime Song PARTY! Public Recording Stage supported by DAM Anime Club

A stage with a public recording of the “Anime Song PARTY!” broadcast by Nippon Cultural Broadcasting (every Sunday from 20:30 to 20:45), which brings the world together through anime songs! Besides the radio recording part, there will also be a song stage part. In the radio recording event, Hitomi Yoshida will talk about the charm of anime songs, and in company of Yōhei Ōnishi of Hikari Hinata (Singing Cosplayer Hikary) will deliver an anime song session from the stage.

A stage runway with cosplays of characters appearing in works of Studio Ghibli! This is a special project to commemorate the opening of the Ghibli Park in the Aichi prefecture this year, on 1 November 2022. This will be a large gathering of Ghibli cosplayers.

COSPLAY de UMIGOMI ZERO stage

The problem of marine litter continues to worsen all over the world. It is said that by 2050 the amount of ocean waste, primarily plastic, will account for more mass in the ocean than fish. Approximately 80% of marine litter reaches the seas drifted away by rivers from the continents and their cities. Here we introduce the activities of the "COSPLAY de UMIGOMI ZERO" project, which has the purpose of enlarging the circle of actions that protect the clean seas with the strength of cosplayers from all over the world, so we can coexist with beautiful locations for years to come.
"Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki" PR Stage

A stage where we will watch all the 10 episodes of the fourth season of the anime, together with Masaki Andō, the author of the original series, and Sora Tokui, who plays the role of Kei Aonaji, the vicepresident of the student council born in Chiba. Honoka Akimoto (TEAM SHACHI), who also has appeared in the series as a guest, will join to make a group of local girls introducing and discussing about the local topics featured in “Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki”.

The peak of cosplay performance. The greatest of cosplay performances. The stage performances to determine the best cosplayers in the world are returning to the Cosplay Summit! The Cosplay Championship will be held on a real stage for the first time in 3 years. This time, only teams that are able to come to Japan will participate.
World "HERO'S" Cosplay Grand Prix

A collaboration project with Kodansha! There will be a lot of events related with the works of Hiro Mashima, including a cosplay photo contest and a runway stage! In the Cosplay Photo Grand Prix, the winners will receive an original illustration with an autograph of Hiro Mashima autograph and illustrated color paper autographed by Hiro Mashima. (There will be an awarding ceremony with other sensational prizes) Mr. Hiro Mashima will participate as a judge. Let's show our love for his works in this event!
