Event ① “Free opening”
An open square where you can relax and take a lot of pictures!
This year, the students of the Nagoya University of Arts have prepared a design stressing the Nagoya dialect with a motif of onomatopoeia!
Please use this space freely to take memorable photos and group shots!
There is also a special website where you can download the Nagoya dialect onomatopoeia created for this project!
Please drop by us!
* Please try to limit the time of use to 5~10 minutes for each group.
* A part of the time slots are reserved for private photo shooting. Please acknowledge that free photo shooting is not possible concurrently with private photo shootings.

Event ② “Theme gatherings”
Please join us if you are cosplaying a character or an original work corresponding to the themes!
What is a cosplay gathering?
As the original word suggests, it has the meaning of a “meeting”, “assembly” or “collection”. In the context of a cosplay event, a “cosplay gathering” indicates a meeting of cosplayers of the same genre or original work. (* Cosplay term: ~ group)
Every year there are official gatherings held at the WCS, and participants enjoy taking part in them and parading in the streets.
Event ③ “+C production photo shooting”
With the participation of the members of +C production, the talent production with the theme of pop culture managed by tribute Inc.! There will be a free photo shooting only for the WCS.
* Please acknowledge that the actual list of participants may vary without prior notice.
* Only those persons holding a participation ticket for cosplayers or a participation ticket for photographers can participate in the +C production photo shooting (free of charge)
Event ④ “Mini performance stage”
A gathering of cosplay performance teams!
Schedule
Theme: Please gather with a costume of a character or an original work corresponding to the theme.
Free opening: Please use the space freely to take commemorative pictures or group pictures together with your friends. Please be considerate towards the other users.
+C production photo shooting: With the participation of the members of +C production, the talent production with the theme of pop culture managed by tribute Inc.! There will be a free photo shooting only for the WCS.
Mini performance stage: There will be performances by cosplay performance teams.
Photo Spot #4
Hisaya-Odori Park (Water Basin Photo Shooting)
A special opportunity to take photos in the water basin!!
Normally a place that visitors cannot enter, the World Cosplay Summit is the only chance to enter and take photos in the water basin!
Of course, all attendees are free to join in!
The area is illuminated at night, allowing for magical photo opportunities!
* Reservations must be applied for in advance. We plan to accept reservations starting early July.
