MEASURES TO PREVENT AND PREVENT HEATSTROKE

Cosplay events at the WORLD COSPLAY SUMMIT 2022 ~20th Anniversary~ will be held in full compliance with national and government guidelines by implementing measures to prevent heatstroke.
Anyone can be at risk of heatstroke depending on the conditions at the time. It is especially important to be careful at events hosted in broad daylight on hot days. Let's work together to reduce the risk.
The weekend of the WORLD COSPLAY SUMMIT could well be fiercely hot. To make sure that the event is fun and safe for everyone, we ask that you take the necessary precautions and comply with our measures to prevent heatstroke.

Take a drink with you when you go out
Take a drink with you when you go out so you can keep being hydrated. Make sure to rehydrate yourself often before you get thirsty.
Take a break often
As you are attending an event in a hot temperature or under direct sunlight, do not push yourself and take a break often.
Use cooling items
Use items that can cool the hot summer temperature, such as cooling sheets, cooling scarf, portable fan, folding fan, instant coolants, refrigerants, and cooling sprays. You can efficiently cool your body by cooling areas of your body with thick veins such as the base of your neck.
Do not push yourself when it's hot
Please take a break during the hours of the day with stronger sunlight, or wear your cosplay at a different time. Please participate in the event considering your body condition. The event is from 11:00 to 21:00. If you have a cosplay changing room ticket, you can enter the changing room venue as many times as you want for changing. (Please show your participation slip at the changing room reception.)
Make sure your body is ready for a hot temperature
Before the event, please make sure to get a good night sleep and a nutritious meal. It would be best to take a hot bath beforehand to train your body to sweat. When you attend, hydrate yourself often and do not push yourself.
Wear a cool outfit.
Use a parasol or wear a hat.
We anticipate intense heat on the day of the event. Please enjoy the event wearing a costume that is not too hot. Please use a parasol or wear a hat. We recommend attending the event wearing light clothes. While enjoyment is important, please make your body condition the top priority.
Eat a nutritive meal
If you feel unwell, please don't push yourself and talk to the staff nearby. We might need to contact your emergency contact depending on the situation, so please make sure that it is properly set up in your list of contacts.
