“Ghibli Park” will open on November 1st, 2022 in Aichi Prefecture. The World Cosplay Summit will hold the “Cosplay Summit Selection with Ghibli Park”! Let’s generate some excitement for the opening of “Ghibli Park” by cosplaying some Ghibli characters!

What is Ghibli Park?

Ghibli Park is a park that represents the world of Studio Ghibli.
With close consultation with the surrounding forest,
it is being built on and within the grounds of Aichi Earth Expo Memorial Park (Moricoro Park).
There are no big attractions or rides in Ghibli Park.
Take a stroll, feel the wind, and discover the wonders.
“Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse,” “Hill of Youth,” and “Dondoko Forest”
will be the first to open on November 1, 2022.

ランウェイステージ募集内容

We are recruiting about 10 groups of people who can walk down the runway on stage while cosplaying characters who appear in Studio Ghibli creations. If we have many applicants, a selection will be conducted by the agency and applicants will be informed of the results.
Up to 3 persons can appear on stage together.
There will be no onstage rehearsals on the day of the event. Explanations about activities on the stage will be provided before appearing on stage.
Background music will be arranged by the organizers, and therefore there is no need for participants to prepare it.

About the stage

Venue: Special stage at the Galaxy Platform of Oasis 21

Please refer to diagram for the dimensions of the stage. This is the planned size, but it is subject to change. A carpet will be laid on the stage.

Other important points

It is required to purchase separately a “Cosplay changing room ticket (including participation ticket” or a “Cosplay participation ticket” for all the participants.
The event will be streamed live on the internet.
Pictures and videos of the stage will be published on social media sites, and can also be featured in materials such as the promotion of future events related with the World Cosplay Summit.
